Things I noticed in my internet surfing

This searchable list is of registered dog rescues in the state of Ohio. The Ohio Department of Agriculture does not endorse any one rescue. https://agri.ohio.gov/divisions/animal-health/resources/cdb-list-rescues

Guardians for the Animals of Ohio is an approved non-profit 501(c)3 Rescue organization dedicated to saving & rescuing dogs across state of Ohio.

Ohio revised code https://codes.ohio.gov/ohio-revised-code/chapter-955

Do legal guardians get paid in Ohio? Compensation payable to guardians shall be based upon services rendered and shall not exceed five per cent of the amount of moneys received during the period covered by the account required by section 5905.11 of the Revised Code.

This appears to be a vet that list lost and found groups in their area. A good idea to network groups.  https://www.vwpohio.com/elm-ridge-animal-hospital/rescue-lost-found-facebook-pages

Search vs "rescue" organizations

Rescue being protection from abuse, medical treatment, housing, caring for animals.

Search organizations.

Reading through lots of post about lost dogs you will see

Contact the .. Superduper animal search page.

When I had a microchip registered, the company 'gave me a free year' then a fee after. I think they are in NJ, I am in Ohio.
Included is a service to help find lost animals.

A few weeks ago I got a notification about "a lost cat in my area". It was miles away in town. I live out in the country. Would such a notice inspire me to drive in town and drive around looking for a cat?

Just replace X with one of the search groups people recommend when seeing post about a lost animal.

Oh no, I lost (from a recent post)

Have you ever seen any person from any of the "animal search organizations" come to your area driving around looking for any animal?
Not that I have never been wrong, but I think animal search business do not search for animals, but they glean info from shelters, social media groups and individuals that send them information on the internet ?

"Animal search organizations"  are not a search group but an organation that copies and paste information from people who live in areas far from where they are located.

Through the county networks explained, every social media in the area, the shelter, humane society, all reported information of the lost, found or roaming animals would be shared in real time, as soon as it was posted.

The pet detectives are composed in people living in your community. Those who bother to hold a roaming animal, those who report an animal at the time they are spotted.

The last lost pup conversation I followed went on for a period of time. In that time, how many people might have paid no attention to another roaming dog?

With the development of the cell phone, police reports have increased by the thousands. When people think they see something of interest, they take a pic and share it.
My phone (yours too) might have a SOS button. In a flash information is published.

The technology for these ideas already exists, just needs to be adapted for uses intended.

It is for animal pals in each county to organize their information network. In my imagination all counties being connected and using the same apps in their common goal.

It is not any web page or app created by me, but explaining what the app is supposed to do and have computer instructors from your own high school or university to check it out.. then the same one shared through all counties.

Along with the ability to talk to phones (no fingers) cars are coming out with the tech built into the dash boards.

The next time someone you see post advising to contact Superduper animal search page to find their dog, ask Superduper if they already have searchers in your area looking or how soon they will send them out.

It is people in your own community, your humane society and the shelter not Superduper  that will do anything.

Puparoni must have read the facebook comments about people losing their dog, so she is up on the couch looking for em, just like those looking at their phones or computer monitors, sharing and suggesting.
