I hardly talk to anyone on the phone and have no need to have an internet phone (just mobile talk), but
* In chat rooms you guys use your iphones
* When someone creates a room does it last until they remove it?
* Say someone created a chat room n you had your phone near.
* When someone adds a comment does your phone ping or do you need to open the facebook app to see the latest stuff?
* What kind of internet service (zoom, fb?) can you share a common cause with others and get a notification of the latest post?
Dogs of war pics
By the time people post they saw a roaming dog and the owner sees (if they do) the dog can be long gone.
It has been 60 years since I was in boot camp and we were stringing lines for communication, could be me in S.C.
Now you guys have cell phones and all kind of apps.
In your group see if someone will work with you and set up a mock 'alert system'
Using a group chat find a way
Those who share your goals can join, the room remains open till some closes it.
It is not to be a chat room.
The only time anyone post there is when they lose or spot a roaming dog.
Say someone post their lost dog, if it is spotted who ever sees post there as soon as possible, the owner is notified in real time and can go to that area.
Some people might be at work, have a friend or family member 'join the room'
In your county, all around you are lots of groups on different platforms.
You can connect your groups together and share the same information.
If anyone experiments with this concept, share it :)
I created this list of Ohio Cities with the keyword dog in the search to scout out your own area https://www.facebook.com/media/set?set=oa.381942931109045&type=3
When I post facebook recommends this.
It might get some input if you guys use it
